Falling Off the Wagon into the Bandwagon Again

So the past two days have been falling off the wagon kind of days. Two days ago, I ate almost a full bag of flamin hot Cheetos because of …. boredom? Addiction? I didn’t even feel hungry as I put on my coat and shoes to make the trip to the local convenience store. I definitely didn’t feel hungry enough to almost finish the bag. Did My Apathy Just Raise My Cholesterol?

I am a relatively thin female college student who walks about 2 miles a day to class. I also have a total cholesterol of 240 and a LDL cholesterol of 153. For those who don’t know, 243 is 73 “cholesterol points” above the upper limit for my age group and 153 is 50 points above the upper limit.

It’s bad.

20 “cholesterol points” ago I should have gone on cholesterol-lowering drugs. You know, the ones your 40-year old parents take. I’m 19. Read the rest of this entry »
